This is an original watercolour painting on 100% cotton paper, entitled A lovesong to the cedar waxwing and our local atmospheres
The colours pop and twinkle! Only the finest artist-grade materials were used, and the paper is elegant, textured, sturdy, and highly pleasant.
The artwork measures 6.5 × 10” and is unframed.
RE: the contents of this pigmentary lovesong, please allow me to sink briefly into braggadocio — this is one of my favourite pictures I’ve ever made, even if I have no idea why. It feels special to me. I really shouldn’t talk this way, I’m embarrassed, and yet I feel earnest happiness over the confluence of oversized waxwing, blue and red metal structures, eggs, trees, you name it! Also, I believe the waxwing at picture’s top-left is actually asleep and dreaming of all these scenes and atmospheres, etc!
This artwork will be signed and date on the rearside, and I will also include a humble ‘certificate of authenticity’, and of course the artwork will be wrapped safely and securely.
